Leaves, oh leaves, all over the ground.
Oh how they are all abound.

Their crumbling sound beneath my feet.
Can you not see the joy that they bring to me.

Though when the snow comes and covers the earth.
All the people gather around the hearth.

Away from the leaves that fell from the trees
and cover them also.

But when the sunshine comes and the leaves "spring"
up again. We come outside and see the covered trees.

And so we start over.

Leaves, oh leaves, can you not see.
The joy that they bring to me.
